Tyson Chicken Settlement: Receive Cash or a Coupon
If you bought certain Tyson chicken products between June 19, 2007 and April 30, 2009, you may be eligible to receive cash back or a Tyson coupon as part of class action lawsuit settlement. During those dates Tyson labeled some of its products “Raised Without Antibiotics” or “Raised Without Antibiotics That Impact Antibiotic Resistance in Humans” and was sued because those labels were misleading, since they did use some antibiotics.
Whether you have proof of purchase or not, you can participate in this settlement by filing an online claim form or downloading, then mailing in a form. Either way, your claim must be submitted by July 6, 2010. If you have proof of purchase (which I’d be impressed you do this far after the fact!) you are eligible to receive up to $50 cash back per household. Without proof of purchase you may be eligible to receive up to $10 back per household or a $5 off any Tyson product coupon.
